In the case of free-form concrete panels (FCPs), factory production, on-site transport and installation are usually performed, such as precast concrete members. However, in-situ production and installation of FCPs can result in cost savings of around 20% compared to factory production and installation. In this case, a layout plan should be established to efficiently produce FCPs in a limited area of the site. It is required to analyze the influencing factors of layout for efficient FCPs production and then systematically link them. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a layout algorithm for efficient production of free-form concrete panels. The proposed algorithm supports the software development which can academically perform the production layout of the FCPs quickly and easily. |
