| Adoption of BIM in AEC industry faces a lot of confusion. For the move to BIM-based design approach based on 3D model, the form of representation is required. LOD(Level of Detail) is the standard on representation level of model, which can be applied to the BIM-based design. This is a new concept that corresponds to the drawing scale that is the representation level in 2D based design. Therefore, we investigate and analyze based on research, guidelines and case abroad. We also investigate standard and recommendation about representation level of model in domestic BIM guidelines, compare LOD standard of foreign and elicit limitations and propose direction of improvement |
