광복 이후 제주는 중앙 정부의 주도 아래 개발 정책이 추진되면서 국내외 자본으로 인해 산업 구조 뿐만 아니라 주택과 주거 환경에도 변화되기 시작하였다. 이러한 변화를 겪으며 제주 전통 건축과는 다른 형식의 건축물들이 등장하기 시작하였다. 따라서 제주 근대 건축물의 이해를 위해서는 사회 변천에 따른 도시?건축 변화 과정과 어떻게 대응하며 변화, 발전되었는지 시대별 건축물의 변화와 특징을 살펴볼 필요가 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 건축자산 조사 자료를 통해 건축물의 변화와 특징에 관한 기초 연구로써 광복 이후부터 19880년까지 제주 사회변천에 따른 도시?건축의 변화를 문헌 고찰을 통해 정리하였다. 그리고, 제주 건축자산 기초조사의 기존자료를 토대로 연구 자료로 쓰일 수 있도록 가공 재분류하여 Arc Gis와 SPSS23을 통해 분석하였다. 사회변천에 따른 관련성에 주목하여 시대별로 건축적 요소인 건축물의 용도, 규모, 구조, 외벽 재료, 지붕 재료 및 형태 등의 변화 특징을 분석하였고 또한 자산가치의 요소인 건축 자산가치별 특징 등을 분석하였다. 연구 결과 광복 이후 제주 건축물의 변화는 제주 사회 변천에 따른 도시?건축의 변화와 대응하며 관련성을 갖고 변화해왔다는 것을 알 수 있다. |

After liberation, Jeju experienced significant transformations in its industrial structure and residential environment, driven by domestic and
foreign investments under central government development policies. These changes led to the emergence of new building types alongside
traditional Jeju architecture. To understand modern buildings in Jeju, it is essential to examine how urban and architectural developments
evolved over time in response to social changes. This study provides a foundational analysis of these shifts, summarizing the changes in
buildings and architecture from liberation until 1988 through a literature review. Utilizing data from the Jeju Basic Architectural Asset
Survey, the study involves processing and reclassifying information, then analyzing it with ArcGIS and SPSS23. By focusing on the link
between social changes and architectural evolution, this research examines the characteristics of building use, scale, structure, outer wall
materials, roof materials, and shapes over different periods. It also analyzes the architectural asset values. The findings revealed that since
liberation, Jeju's architecture has evolved significantly in connection with broader societal changes. |
