본 연구는 서울시 중국인 밀집지역 대림2동과 자양4동의 도시형성과 공간활용에 대해 조사한다. 두 도시는 모두 조선족 및 중국인의 이주 기반으로 조직되었지만 도시의 형성과정에 따라 도식공간이 다르게 표현된다. 대림동은 뉴타운 균형발전촉진지구 지정 및 개발 계획으로 인해 가리봉동에서 거주하던 조선족의 이주로 형성된 도시이다. 그러나 자양동은 대림동으로 지속적으로 유입되는 중국인과 섞이는 것이 아닌 조선족만의 새로운 장소를 만들기 위해 주도적인 이주로 형성된 도시이다. 오늘날 두 도시는 소비자들에게 독특하고 이국적인 문화를 제공하는 대표적인 중국 상권 밀집지역이 되었다. 또한 대림2동과 자양4동은 중국문화거리라는 통칭이 아닌 차이나타운과 양꼬치거리라는 차별화된 상권의 지명도를 확보하였다. 본 연구는 대림동과 자양동의 중국 상권의 차이점을 분석하기 위해 중국 상권의 소비주체에 따라 변화되는 도시공간에 대해 연구하고 재해석한다. 본 논문은 현장방문에 근거하는 질적연구방법 결과를 공간구문론 연구방법의 양적연구를 통해 검증한다. 두 도시공간을 비교하기 위해 다양한 시각적 자료와 심도 있는 연구결과를 전달한다. |

This study examines the urban formation and spatial usage of concentrated Chinese communities, with a particular focus on Daerim 2-dong
and Jayang 4-dong in Seoul, Korea. While both areas cater to the Korean Chinese ethnic group and Chinese immigrants, their formation
histories differ significantly. Daerim-dong emerged due to the relocation of Korean Chinese residents following the New Town Development
plan in Garibong-dong, whereas Jayang-dong was established through voluntary migration to create a new sense of place. Presently, these
districts serve as prominent Chinese commercial hubs, offering distinct cultural experiences such as Chinatown in Daerim-dong and Lamb
skewer street in Jayang-dong, which have reshaped urban landscapes significantly. This research aims to compare and contrast Daerim-dong
and Jayang-dong, focusing on Chinese commercial areas and consumer demographics. Employing qualitative and quantitative research methods,
the analysis will elucidate the spatial utilization characteristics of these concentrated Chinese regions. Visual documentation will be provided
to illustrate the contrasting urban environments of the two areas. |
