본 연구의 목적은 건축 분야에서 ABM의 학문적, 실무적 적용에 앞서 ABM에 대한 국외 연구 동향을 파악하고 주요 연구 관점을 탐색하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 건축 분야 ABM의 연구 동향을 파악하기 위해 시기별 국외 연구 논문을 대상으로 키워드 네트워크 분석을 실시했다. 분석 결과, '계획'을 언급하는 키워드가 모든 중심성(Eigenvector centrality, Closeness centrality, Betweeness centrality)에서 시간이 지남에 따라 지속적으로 등장하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 매개 중심성 분석에서는 두 기간 모두 '복잡계'가 상위 키워드로 나타났는데, 이는 ABM 모델이 기술의 발달로 다양한 데이터를 한 번에 처리하고 공간과 사람 사이의 정보를 수집할 수 있게 되었음을 의미한다. 따라서 모델의 타당성을 높이기 위해서는 물리적 환경에 대한 정보뿐만 아니라 인적 요인에 대한 연구를 포함할 필요가 있다. 특히 '보행자'가 '도시', '공공'과 함께 지속적으로 등장한다는 점은 보행 환경이 도심의 중요한 요소임을 시사하는 것이므로 관련 연구가 활발히 진행될 필요가 있다. 향후 연구에서는 본 연구를 통해 도출된 전반적인 연구 동향을 바탕으로 구체적인 연구 주제와 공간을 선정하여 세부적인 ABM 연구 동향을 파악하여야 한다. |

This study aims to pinpoint trends in global ABM research and delve into primary research perspectives preceding the academic and practical
application of ABM in architecture. A keyword network analysis was conducted on global research papers over different time periods to
identify ABM research trends in architecture. The analysis results revealed that keywords related to planning consistently feature prominently
across all centrality measures of Eigenvector centrality, Closeness centrality, and Betweenness centrality over time. In terms of betweenness
centrality analysis, complex-system emerged as the top keyword in both periods, indicating the ABM model’s capacity to process diverse data
concurrently, evolving alongside technological advancements to gather information on interactions between space and people. Therefore, to
enhance model validity, it is imperative to incoporate research on human factors, not soley focusing on the physical environment. Notably,
the consistent appearance of pedestrians alongside urban and public underscores the significance of pedestrian environments in urban centers,
necessitating related research. Future studies should identify detailed ABM research trends by selecting specific research topics and spaces
based on the overall research trends derived from this study. |
