In the post-COVID-19 era, changes in architectural spaces have become the subject of changes in various aspectsof people's way of life. This study compares and analyzes competitions before and after COVID-19 and derives key keywordchanges in architectural competitions in Korea. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to predict various eras related to thearchitectural field in accordance with future changes in the post-COVID-19 era and derive implications for the subject. Thisstudy collected the themes and releases of the top five architectural competitions in Korea for six years in conjunction with thecoronavirus, and conducted text mining and network analysis. The importance and connectivity of keywords were compared andanalyzed through frequency analysis, TF-IDF analysis, centrality analysis, and CONCOR analysis, and changes in keywords inthe architecture field before and after COVID-19 were derived. As a result of the analysis, First, although society wants a rapiddemand for change due to the coronavirus, it can be seen that the topic and discussion of ¡°space¡±, ¡°architecture¡±, ¡°us¡± are stillongoing as the subject of the architectural competition. Second, it can be seen that most architectural themes before Coronaare based on diversity and sociality, and themes limited to architecture form architectural themes rather than urban ones. Third,post-COVID architectural themes confirm that the demand for architectural change is an important topic, along with a sharpinterest in the future era after the coronavirus pandemic, It can be seen that architectural solutions to urban problems are beingdemanded along with the importance of everyday life. Fourth, it can be seen that most keywords in the post-COVIDarchitecture field are focused on keywords related to the future, change, and prediction. Objectively and quantitatively identifyingkeywords related to major architecture according to future changes through this study will be a very important basis forpredicting various eras related to the architectural field in the future and creating another topic of change. |
