(Research background) The proposal for the new retail concept states that traditional physical stores will gradually shift toward new retail. With the introduction of this concept, traditional retail stores have begun new layout one after another. After the pandemic, many small and medium-sized enterprises began to understand the role of new retail. The new layout of traditional retail has accelerated significantly. The expansion of unmanned stores reduces labor costs, expand sales time, and improve operational efficiency through intelligent delivery, while reflecting the trend of non-face-to-face consumers. Although unmanned stores are still in their early stages, many latecomers are catching up with this improved technology. Experts believe that in five to ten years, such unmanned stores will become common. This study starts with consumers¡¯ perspectives and calculates the hierarchical design indicators of the constructed consumer satisfaction evaluation system model using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Given that unmanned stores have emerged only in recent years, previous research data are incomplete. We hope that the results of this study can provide a reference for future research on unmanned store space design and look forward to playing an important role in the direction of store space design. (Method) 1. Using the literature analysis method of the RISS/KCI/CNKI database, we searched for the concept of unmanned stores and constituent elements of consumption space. Based on the evaluation indicators of consumer satisfaction in unmanned stores, combined with the opinions of ten experts (FGI), a final indicator system was established. 3. Through the established indicator system, AHP was used to calculate the weight of the three standard levels and planning levels of the evaluation indicators, and SPSS PRO was used to analyze the data to determine whether the conformance testing has been passed. Next, we aimed to verify the practicality and rationality of the evaluation system and model construction, draw research conclusions, formalize the research evaluation system, and provide design suggestions for improving consumer satisfaction in unmanned shopping spaces. (Results) The future spatial design structure of unmanned stores can be designed as follows. Using quantitative methods to compensate for the subjective design shortcomings of designers in unmanned store space design makes the design of unmanned supermarkets more scientific. (Conclusion) This study clearly shows the important factors and their weights in future unmanned store space design. The fact that experience value, economic value, and brand value are important factors suggests that unmanned stores should focus on creating user experience and brand value beyond simple convenience. Among the design indicators, culture and services occupy the highest weight, emphasizing that an unmanned store design should be connected to the local culture and provide excellent services. This indicates that a strategic design approach is required to improve consumer shopping experience and increase brand awareness. |
