¿ä¾à2 In Gyeonggi-do, a resident-led project promoting resident participation that is suitable for village characteristics was implemented. However, existing studies have failed to examine the project's outcomes after its completion. In this study, we analyzed whether there were differences in project content, participation types, perceptions, satisfaction levels, and community vitalization. Regarding the research methodology, we first considered theoretical approaches to revitalize village communities. Then, we conducted a survey in Suwon-si, Ansan-si, and Gapyeong-gun, where resident participation projects are being implemented. The survey results indicate that all three regions have a high level of awareness about the project, with a high participation rate and willingness to participate. Additionally, respondents expressed satisfaction with the program and reported positive utilization. There were differences in project satisfaction and community vitalization based on the type of participation. For instance, active family experiences in Suwon, static educational programs in Ansan, and village events in Gapyeong-gun all had varying levels of participation. To foster ongoing interactions among neighbors, it is essential to determine the type of project to be promoted (such as regional initiatives, community programs, or communal spaces) and encourage active participation from residents by taking into account the necessary conditions for promoting it.
