¿ä¾à2 (Background and Purpose) Smart home technology has been progressed a lot over the past 10 years in a limited residential system, and the cutting-edge smart technology has been concentrated in the smart home with the advent of the fourth industrial revolution. Modern people who have come into contact with convenient smart living space have paid attention to smart technology, and it has gradually become a trend to introduce a smart technology system into dwellings. As the development of smart technology attracts the attention of modern people, the intelligent environment and its value required by the near-future smart home with complex high-tech technology are expected to increase. The purpose of the study is to examine a built-in system design according to the advancement of the smart home by utilizing the taxonomy by adaptive function type that can properly accommodate the needs of any environment for the functions and values demanded by the smart home residents. (Method) The research method is as follows. First, it identifies changes in the technological environment, residential environment, and user lifestyle in the advanced smart home. Second, it identifies the need for functions and values required in smart homes, and presents future built-in system design integrated spatial functions and their effects. Third, it understands the adaptive function, organizes the analysis system by type through previous studies, and configures the adaptive function type required in the smart home. Fourth, it organizes and lists acceptable types of functions, systems, and devices required for the smart home by adaptive function type. Lastly, it presents the built-in system design necessary for the advancement of the smart home and its effects based on the contents derived from the comprehensive analysis after conducting a case analysis based on the organized types. (Results) The types of integrated spatial functions that a built-in system required for smart home should have are classified into spatial adaptation, space utilization, space furniture, and space intelligence. In general, the automated system induces users to participate in the space through transformation in a stagnant space, rather than providing only the spatial extension, transformation, and change requested by the user. In addition, it immediately responds to and provides what users demand with interface information archived through the interaction between humans and functions. (Conclusions) The built-in system of smart home , which will be developed intelligently in the future, will integrate 'space type-intelligent interface-variable function', and the interface with lifestyle archived will automatically provide an environment that meets the type and function of space required by the user. This system experience is expected to provide pluralistic values while forming a new personality.
