This study aims to analyze the influential factors affecting housing satisfaction of single-person household which is focussed on urban areas over 300,000 its population in Gyeongsangnam-do, province. A current single-person household with 30.4% of the entire provincial population tends to increase persistently and reach to 33.4% in 2030. Residential policy about one person household arouse main issue in public policy and especially residential satisfaction in their quality of life. Factors influenced housing satisfaction to single-person household variously differed from the interior and exterior of housing and also among householder¡¯s ages, the youth, the middle-aged, the aged and total age group. According to the multiple regression analysis, hygienic conditions factor in total age group, parks and green areas factor in the youth and the middle-aged, public and cultural sectors in the youth, and well-lighting and convenient facility factors in the aged were resulted and valued respectively. In conclusion, housing policy in urban areas for a single-person household should be considered with enhancing the residential satisfaction degree setting householder¡¯s ages. |
