본 연구의 목적은 커뮤니케이션을 강조하는 최근 오피스 내의 업무공간 형태를 가시성 그래프 분석(VGA)을 이용하여 업무환경의 공간구조와 시지각적 특성을 파악하고 그 변화 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 시계열적으로 선정된 사례 그룹을 대상으로 공간구성 현황 및 면적비율 등의 공간구성 특성을 파악하였으며, 공간구조의 시지각적 특성 분석을 위해 VGA분석을 진행하였다. 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 결론을 정리하면, 첫째, 커뮤니케이션을 강조하는 오피스 공간사례에서 위상 중심의 변화를 관찰할 수 있었으며, 특히 커뮤니티공간의 역할 및 위상이 높아진 것으로 분석된다. 둘째, 접근성이 높은 중심공간과 그렇지 않은 주변 공간의 위상 차이가 줄어든 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 커뮤니케이션 증진을 위하여 단순한 시각적 개방성보다 시각적 조우 이후에 후속적으로 실질적인 사회적 관계를 형성할 수 있는 공간을 제공할 필요가 있다. 넷째, 커뮤니케이션 증진을 위해서 사용자의 다양한 커뮤니케이션 행위를 지원할 수 있도록 공간적 선택지를 제공하는 것이 중요하다. |

Due to rapid changes in the technology and global business markets and environments, work organizations must deal with uncertainty, and
seek out more creative and innovative solutions to be competitive. Workplace needs to support knowledge workers to communicate more
efficiently and effectively in order to increase collaboration. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of office
configuration to support formal and informal communication, in terms of openness and visual access, using visual integration and connectivity.
For this study, comparative cases were collected based on time periods. One group ranges from 2016 to 2020 (12 cases), and the other is
from 2006 to 2010 (6 cases). Spatial relation between each functional area were examined. Visual integration and mean depth were conducted
using the depthMapX program, Visibility Graph Analysis including connectivity in each functional area within offices, and Visual Isovist in
entry and community spaces. The results showed apparent changes in office configurations: older offices have more open spaces in individual
workstation areas, which are commonly found in open plan offices. The newer office cases have more community areas, which are more
frequently nodes and located within the main functional areas of whole office spaces. In the newer office cases, which are concerned with
communication and collaboration, community spaces are more connected with other office areas, and less openness in private individual
workstations is commonly found. |
