Village regeneration projects are increasing to revitalize economic, social, physical and environmental activation in declining urban areas such as population decline and aging by introducing new functions and utilizing local resources. In particular, there are attempts to revitalize the village by using culture and art as local resources to improve the environment and attract visitors. In this study, in order to analyze the utilization of local resources as attractor, elements of village were classified into attraction types, and regenerative villages such as Gamcheon Village, Baedari Village, and Balsan Village were analyzed. Attraction type can be divided into ¡®ambient¡¯, ¡®impulse¡¯ and ¡®destination¡¯, and ¡®ambient¡¯ was found to be the type receiving the most attention from visitors in all villages. ¡®Impulse¡¯ is active in Gamcheon Village, but not much attention is received in other villages, and ¡®destination¡¯ lacks number of it¡¯s element in all villages and not much attention from visitors. In ¡®ambient¡¯, murals and architecture are attracting a lot of attention, and Baedari Village's ordinary appearance, such as old houses and landscaping, attracted visitors. |
