충북대학교 배치상에서 주요공공시설인 도서관과 학생회관 사이에 위치한 광장은 중심 외부공간일 뿐만 아니라 광장과 연결된 도서관과 학생회관 및 주변 건물의 연결공간이다. 코로나 유행 후 방역정책의 도입으로 광장을 이용한 주요시설의 이용행태가 변화했고 또한 광장에서 주요시설의 진출입의 행태에 대한 조사가 필요하다. 코로나 전후 대학 중심 공공시설의 행태분석을 통해 인접한 광장과 인접 공공시설과의 연관된 행태를 파악하여 대학 내에서 중심공간으로서의 기능뿐 아니라 내부공간과 외부공간의 연결적 성격의 중요성을 파악한다. 충북대학교 광장을 사이에 두고 위치한 교내 주요 공공시설인 학생회관과 도서관을 대상으로 2019년과 2020년 코로나 유행 전 이용행태를 분석한다. 2학기 중간고사를 기점으로 2019년 10월 14일부터 11월 1일과 2020년 10월 12일부터 10월 30일까지 3주간 평일동안 오전, 정오, 저녁 세 번 광장의 행태를 조사하여 인근 시설의 이용량을 분석하고 공공공간의 이용행태를 파악한다. 주차,요일,시간을 관점으로 시설 이용행태를 분석함에 따라 인근 광자의 이용행태도 함께 연관시켜 분석하고 특히 대학도서관의 경우 광장과 함께 캠퍼스 이용자들이 많이 이용한다. 하지만 코로나 유행 후에도 학생들이 여전히 광장을 경유하여 대학공공시설을 이용하는 것으로 조사되어 이러한 시설들이 캠퍼스의 중추적인 역할을 하고 있음을 알 수 있다. 광장을 경유하여 공공시설을 이용하는 행태를 코로나 전후 비교분석하여 대학중심시설과 외부공간의 연계를 통해 광장은 공공공간의 이용률을 높이고 다양한 행태를 담는 중심공간이 되어야 한다. 이렇게 함으로써 대학 중심시설과 외부공간이 하나의 복합 문화공간으로써 인식되어 대학 시설과 광장이 대학교 중심 공간과 공공공간으로서의 기능까지 할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다. |

Before and after the coronavirus epidemic, the introduction of a quarantine policy changed the usage of major facilities using the square.
Through the analysis of the behavior of public facilities centered on universities before and after the coronavirus, the relationship between
square and public facilities is identified. This study analyzes the importance of not only the function as a central space within the university,
but also the connection between the inner and outer spaces. The student union and library, which are major public facilities located across
the Chungbuk National University square, are analyzed before the corona epidemic in 2019 and 2020. Starting from the midterm exam in the
2nd semester, survey the user’s behavior of the square three times in the morning, noon, and evening during three weekdays for three weeks
from October 14 to November 1, 2019 and October 12 to October 30, 2020. Analyze the amount of usage of facilities and understand the
user’s behavior of public spaces. Even after the coronavirus epidemic, it was investigated that a large number of students use university
public facilities through the square, indicating that these facilities are playing a pivotal role in the campus. The square should increase the
utilization rate of public spaces and become a central space that contains various behaviors through linkage between university-centered
facilities and external spaces. Thus, the university central facilities and the outer space should be recognized as a complex cultural space, so
that the university facilities and square can function as the university central space and public space. |
