¿ä¾à2 In the face of an aging society in South Korea, it is necessary to consider the planning directions of elderly care facilities in terms of disaster safety. The purpose of this study was to propose the planning direction of elderly care facilities that are ensured to disaster safety through the opinions of facilities workers. The research method was a survey conducted on satisfaction, importance, and demand for facility planning in terms of disaster safety by targeting 295 facility workers through descriptive statistics, ANOVA, paired t-test, IPA. The main results are as follows; firstly, researchers suggested four types of elderly care facilities in terms of disaster safety, including single and complex types in urban and suburban areas. When new building and remodeling of elderly care facilities, it is necessary to consider applying important planning factors among the opinions of facility workers to be specialized for each facility types. Secondly, The routes and information related evacuation provision planning standards needs to be strengthened from existing legal standards considering movement and cognitive vulnerability of facility residents. Facilities workers were less satisfied with the evacuation space and the demands of each type of facility were different. Urban complex facilities, which are difficult to change the structure of buildings, should be considered using bedrooms and toilets as evacuation spaces. Based on these results, it is necessary to develop customized guidelines for planning, managing priority or selectively according to facility conditions.
