요약2 This study investigated the architectural space and landscape composition method of the pavilion and revealed how the excellent natural scenery around the pavilion was interpreted and implemented. In particular, the values, world views, and natural views of Confucian scholars in the Joseon Dynasty remain better there than other buildings. Therefore, this study analyzed Cheongamjeong(靑巖亭) and Seokcheonjeongsa(石泉亭舍) in Yugok village(酉谷), Bonghwa-gun(奉化郡), Gyeongbuk(慶北), where various natural landscapes and traces remain well. The former was built by Kwon-Beol(權?) in 1526, and the latter was completed by his son(權東輔) in 1536, after he built the foundation. First, this study examined the humanities and natural geographical environment of the two buildings, analyzed the background of the landscape. Next, the landscape composition elements and composition methods were considered, and in particular, the interpretation and representation of landscape components were analyzed from the perspective of Confucian scholars inside the building. The research was conducted through comparative analysis of the literature and buildings they left behind. The conclusions are as follows.
1) The landscape of Yugok Village is divided into the landscape centered Cheongamjeong on the village and the landscape centered Seokcheonjeongsa on Seokcheon valley. The former external landscape has a static configuration, but the latter external landscape has a dynamic configuration. 2) Cheongamjeong was composed of landscape composition method centered on area after creating artificial landscape elements using rock and water. And Chungjae(沖齋) was placed between Cheongamjeong and the head house, so it is located between the real world and the ideal world of Confucian scholars, making the landscape of the garden balanced. This is the result of the owner's value with a sense of balance in life. 3) The outside landscape of Seokcheonjeongsa actively utilized the natural environment as a landscape element and took a landscape composition method with emphasized horizontal elements. And they tried to explore the reason of Neo-Confucianism that is one with nature and human beings and to realize the ideal world. 4) Cheongamjeong is located on a rock and does not constitute window or wall, so it is composed of an open landscape composition method that can take various external landscape elements. Unlike it, Seokcheonjeongsa is composed of a landscape composition method that can concentrate on the desired landscape elements because it constitutes walls and windows. Therefore, Confucian scholars created a balanced landscape with natural and human-made landscape elements, realizing the ideal world where nature and humans can interact.
