The primary purpose of this study is to evaluate the degree of protection of ground Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants (POL) storage, which is essential for supporting military operations. For a reliable evaluation of the degree of protection, an empirical explosion test must be conducted, but finite element analysis was performed due to limitations in time, space, and budget. As a result of finite element analysis, the maximum stress of 685.97 kPa was measured at the point where the FirePit wall meets the ground, and the maximum displacement of the wall was measured to be 0.353 mm. It was confirmed that the point rotation angle was 0.004¡Æ, so that the main wall of the POL storage could withstand the corresponding blast pressure. From these results, the protection capability of POL storage, which is essential in the battlefield area of the Korean military was verified, and it was confirmed that it could be used in future military operations. |
