Purpose: The purpose of this study was to organize evaluation criteria of Amenity from precedent researches and best practices, and to analyze the status of waterfront areas of Anyangcheon in terms of Convenience, Safety, Environment, Culture, Aesthetics. Method: Amenity evaluation items are derived through precedent researches.
Then, Amenity evaluation contents are composed through precedent researches and and best practices. The research scope is limited to Access, River crossings, Bicycle pedestrian path, Activity space and actual condition is analyzed focusing on space and facility planning. Result: First, Convenience - It is necessary to plan additional access facilities in residential areas and Under bridge spaces that are easily accessible and likely to be utilized by users.
Second, Safety - It is necessary to additionally plan accident safety facilities and crime safety facilities mainly on river crossings and Bicycle pedestrian paths, which are vulnerable to accidents due to crowded bicycle users and pedestrians. Third, Environment - Anyangcheon lacks comfort in the surrounding environment. Therefore, a sanitary facility is required to maintain a comfortable environment in the entry/exit space with an approach that is less likely to be left. Fourth, Culture - There was lack of facilities to support rest, leisure, and hobbies for users in all spaces excepting river crossings. Therefore, a space plan that considers children's experiential learning and the community among all users is required in the green space around the bridge. Fifth, Aesthetics - Aesthetic colors and shapes etc. were not planned in all the waterfront spaces in Anyangcheon. Therefore, it is necessary to provide a different atmosphere and fun to users by installing color plans and aesthetic public sculptures that match water nature in all waterfront spaces in Anyangcheon. |
