(연구배경 및 목적) 과거 인구가 폭발적으로 증가하기 전에 대세 주거형태였던 단독주택에 대한 관심이 다시 증가하고 있다. 최근 단독주택에 대한 관심의 증가에 따라 꾸준하게 새로운 공간개념을 연구하는 일본 SANAA의 주택작품들을 공간적으로 분석하여 우리나라 단독주택 계획시 시사점을 모색하는데 그 목적이 있다. (연구방법) 본 연구는 먼저 SANAA 주거와 관련된 선행연구들을 고찰하고, 선정된 주택들을 각각 건축계획적인 내용분석과 함께 공간구문론으로 분석한다. 시대별 특성을 파악하기 위해 공간 성격별(공동생활공간, 개인생활공간, 가사노동공간) 분석을 시도하고, 통합도 분석을 통해 ‘통합성 공간’과 ‘분격성 공간’의 분포 비율을 비교하며, 대표적인 개인생활공간인 주침실의 통합도 값의 변화추이를 분석하여 프라이버시에 대한 고려가 어떻게 변화되는지 고찰한다. (결과) SANAA의 2000년대 초반 주택의 경우에 ‘통합성 공간’보다 ‘분격성 공간’의 비율이 현격하게 높은 것을 알 수 있는데, 이 시기 주택들은 복도가 소멸되고 방과 방의 관계를 탐색하는 시기로 공간들을 더욱 세분화하는 계획이 주를 이루는 시기였기에 이러한 결과값이 나온 것으로 판단된다. 1990년대 주택의 경우 대부분 주침실 프라이버시에 대한 고려는 우수하게 나타났으나, 2000년대 초반의 주택들은 대부분 주침실 프라이버시에 대한 고려가 매우 미흡하게 나타났고, 2000년대 중반이후 주택들은 주침실의 통합도를 낮게하여 적절한 프라이버시를 유지시키는 계획으로 변화하고 있는 것으로 분석되었다. (결론) 본 연구를 통해 다음과 같은 연구 결론을 도출하였다. 첫째, SANAA의 1990년대 주택은 방과 복도와의 관계, 개인공간과 공용공간 사이의 관계를 새롭게 모색하는 시기로 일반적인 구성을 역전시켜 새로운 실험을 전개하였다. 이러한 새로운 공간실험을 하면서도 2층으로 직접 올라가는 계단을 설치하여 2층 현관으로 유도한다거나, 진입동선을 인위적으로 길게 유도한다거나, 개인공간들의 연결도와 통합도를 낮추는 전략들을 통해 개인공간들의 접근성을 낮추어 프라이버시를 잘 유지시키고 있다. 둘째, 2000년대 초반 주택은 복도가 소멸하고 방과 방의 관계를 탐색하는 시기로 개실공간들과 공용공간들 간의 구분이 두드러지지 않고 개실공간들도 더욱 세분화 되어 가는 시기이다. 이 시기의 주택들은 개인공간의 통합도 값이 통합도 평균값 보다도 오히려 높거나 평균값 보다 약간 낮은 수준으로 개인공간들의 프라이버시 유지면에서는 매우 미흡한 시기이다. 셋째, 2000년대 중반이후 주택의 경우는 주택과 정원, 내부와 외부와의 관계에 대해서 탐색하는 시기로 이 시기에는 공간의 연결을 위해 외부공간들의 역할이 매우 중요해졌으며, 공용공간들의 통합도는 높아지고, 개인공간들의 통합도는 낮아지며 공용공간과 사적공간들의 구분이 다시 뚜렷해지는 시기로 변화하고 있다. |

(Background and Purpose) The interest in detached houses, which was dominant before the exponential increase in population, is growing again. According to the recent interest in detached houses, this study aims to analyze the houses of SANAA in Japan that seek the new concept of spaces continuously and to investigate the implications of planning detached houses in Korea. (Method) In this study, prior studies related to housing by SANAA were reviewed, and the selected houses were analyzed by space syntax together with content analysis in view of their construction plans. To understand the characteristics by the times, they were analyzed by space purposes including common living space, personal living space, and housework space; the distribution was compared with integrated space and segregated space upon integration analysis; and the changes of privacy considerations were reviewed upon the trend analysis of integration values on the master bedroom where is the representative personal living space. (Results) In case of the SANAA houses in early 2000s, share of segregated space was significantly higher than that of integrated space, which may reflect the period when more segregated space plans were dominant to eliminate the corridors and to seek the relationship between rooms. Consideration of the privacy on the master bedrooms was excellent in the houses in 1990s, however, that in the early 2000s was very poor, and consideration of proper level of privacy has been changed in the houses since mid-2000s upon lowering integration of the master bedroom. (Conclusions) The study conclusions are as follows. First, the houses of SANAA in 1990s had sought the relationship between rooms and corridor, and between personal space and common space, providing new experiments upon changing ordinary organizations. Amid the new space experiments, privacy was well secured upon lowering accessibility to the personal spaces by the strategies to lower the connectivity and integration of personal spaces such as installing stairs to upstairs directly to lead the entrance of upstairs and making long moving line to the entrance intentionally. Second, the corridors were eliminated and the relationship between rooms were sought at the houses in early 2000s, when the separations of personal space and common space were not clear, and personal spaces were segregated more. The houses at this time showed very poor privacy security on their personal spaces with higher or lower integration of personal space than average. Third, external spaces played a crucial role for connecting spaces in mid to late 2000s when the relationships between houses and gardens, and between interior and exterior were sought. Integration of common spaces became higher and that of personal spaces was lower, changing into remarkable separations between common and personal spaces again. |
