¿ä¾à2 Purpose: A curtain wall building consisting of glass has a high degree of transparency due to its material characteristics and many amount of solar energy acquisition, which is why energy consumption is high in summer. In the indoor environment, the temperature has a significant effect on the comfort of the occupants.
Glass curtain wall buildings use a lot of air-conditioning energy because of the heat load gained from the heat storage which increases the room temperature. Initial curtain wall building were not considered, it is suggested that the cooling load be reduced by facade remodeling of installing louvers or louvers remodeling the length-increasing. It is intended to present as an architectural environmental research material for the facade remodeling of curtain wall structure suitable for the domestic environment. Methods: Theoretical contemplate of the characteristics of curtain wall building and facade remodeling was carried out. The correlation was analyzed, on the one hand related problem were deducted, and the improvement proposal for each case were architectural environmental simulated and reality building analysis. Calculate the sunshine, airflow, lighting and cooling load, and building surface temperature for the existing and improvement proposal, develop an optimal plan for the target building, the results of the analysis were aggregated and analyzed, and the search was involved out in a way to resolve. Result: Regulated of solar radiation quantity due to created length-increasing of louvers is cooling loads also decimated as average intensity of illumination values decreased. In other words, block out sunlight is an advantageous method in terms of energy reduction. However, practically that the energy and environmental standards for the facade remodeling absence a legal limit. It is need to preparation detail standards for this.
