Sungbo Museum is a museum that exhibits relics, paintings, books, and collections of the temple. It is built in 35 representative temples in Korea. It has 90% of the museums in the form of hanok. Unlike other museums, the Sungbo Museum lacks diversity because of its interior space is hall. In addition, more museums are closing down, reducing the number of places where visitors can see the exhibition. Despite the problems of the number of museums, exhibition movements and use, the lack of a research is a background of this study. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to classify architectural types, derive characteristics, and propose cases suitable for research results through analysis of architectural size, shape and exhibition movements of the Sungbo Museum. The results of the research and analysis are divided into 17 types of hanok, 14 complexes and four modern types. Hanok-type and complex types show the shape of Hanok wooden architecture, but modern types are planned in a free form. The size of the Sungbo Museum is changing from a multi-Story to a single-story building, and the layout is changed from the precincts of the temple to the outside of the premises of temple. This can be attributed to the influence of the cultural heritage landscape. Most of the plans are in a continuous sequence. However, the characteristics of continuous sequence using sequential and diverse exhibition techniques could not be preserved as the Hanok was planned based on a single space. In view of these advantages and disadvantages, various planes of '¤¡' and '¤±' shapes, which are characteristic of the layout of the hanok, were presented, and the planning of the museum using the slope area was proposed. |
