Indoor louver type concentrating daylighting system was emerged as a new item in the process to increase the power supply from renewable energy in buildings. In this study, the daylighting system is evaluated performance on the visual environment side. The cases for the visual environment evaluation were classified into total twelve type, including three types of rotation angle of slat, two types of the width of the slats and whether the daylight concentration side (reflection) is perforated or not. Visual environmental performance of each case is evaluated to external environmental conditions favorable to daylighting according to the indoor visual environment comfort index (average illuminance, uniformity, DF, DA, luminance contrast). Most of the cases satisfied the visible environmental criteria in terms of illumination the glare criteria except for the concentrator. Detailed construction methods and performance criteria are required to minimize glare in the collection and collection of the concentrating daylighting system, and modify condition of exterior environmental conditions and indoor illuminance. |
