As the issue of energy-saving, it would be reasonable to maximize energy-saving by active factors after reducing cooling and heating loads by passive factors when designing a building. This case study introduced the energy saving design applied to the objected building, and analyzed the energy simulation about skin factor. As the result, it could be expected to decrease 22% annual energy consumption when compared case 2 for applying triple glass window and vertical louver to case 1 for applying general double glass window. For further study, it would be more meaningful to compare the result with examined result of the actual energy consumption from the objected building. |
