The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of indoor odor in the sample domestic environmental foundational facilities and to identify the main parts and reasons for improving the design of ventilation equipment. The effectiveness of air ventilation in one of those facilities was evaluated by the age of air at the worker's breathing height, CFD simulated by DesignBuilder 4.7. As a result, when the air supply diffuser was installed close to the worker's breathing height, the age of air was reduced by 70% compared to the current practices that supply diffusers were installed near the ceiling. That is, the air ventilation can be improved by installation of air supply diffuser at the breathing height. |
