¿ä¾à2 Many of the old factories and warehouses have been recycled into renovation during the development of the city. "Loft" means the building upper floor and warehouse in a dictionary sense. It was created by renovating the space used as an industrial warehouse, which now represents a cultural art studio. The purpose of this study is to study the types and characteristics of Chinese culture and art space due to the loft revolution. The theoretical considerations in the study relate to concepts, space types, and design characteristics in the loft space, where types of loft space can be classified into conservation, stripping, and complex types, and design characteristics include de-structured, dynamic, and infinite. In the case study, nine cases of large Chinese cities were categorized by type. The study found that the type of preservation preserved white walls, decorative cast iron columns, and wooden floors. The deformation style preserves the appearance and structure of old buildings, the interior is finished with new materials, and the interior is finished with new materials to emphasize the modern feeling. The complex preserves some of the features of old buildings, and the new concept and design methods are applied. De-structured characteristics are high floor, large area and open space. Dynamism emphasized the variability and flexibility of space, and infinity was a large glass ceiling and wall, which could be used as an open space, interchangeability between exterior and interior, and a variety of spaces.
