The objective of this study is to understand differences in thermal change between young and aged subjects in diverse urban area under the high temperature of summer time. (1) Regarding the skin temperature of subjects, in the area1 between buildings showing the high physical temperature, the skin temperature between groups was similar while the average skin temperature of group2(aged) was high in the area1&2 between trees and the area2 between buildings showing the low temperature. (2) The rectal temperature of subjects was changed in accordance with the travel distance to the measuring spot. The area2 between trees was measured as 37.76¡ÆC. The area1 between trees and the area2 between buildings were low as 37.34¡ÆC. The rectal temperature was increased the most in the area1 between buildings for 0-60minutes. The rectal temperature in the area1 between trees fell. (3) Regarding the change in rectal temperature between groups, the average rectal temperature of group1(youths) was 37.51¡ÆC for 0-60minutes while the average of group2(senior citizens) was almost similar as 37.52¡ÆC. (4) In the area1 between trees, the group1(youths) was 37.58 ¡ÆC at -25minutes, and the group2(senior citizens) was 37.58 ¡ÆC at 0minute, so that the time difference to reach the highest temperature of inflection was 25minutes. There were differences of eight minutes in the area2 between trees, 30 minutes in the area1 between buildings, and 14 minutes in the area2 between buildings. Youths showed the quick thermal reaction compared to aged subjects. |
