(연구배경 및 목적) 근래 자연적 생태에 대한 보호와 관리에 대한 중요성과 사회적 관심이 높아지면서 국가 및 지자체 차원에서 자연 생태를 효율적으로 유지하기 위한 노력이 증대되고 있다. 특히 과거 자연적인 생물에 대한 생활 즉, 생태를 유지하려는 노력은 생태 개념에서 출발하여 훼손을 방지하고 영구히 보존하려는 환경적 측면에서 매우 바람직한 현상이다. 지역의 생태를 복원하고 유지하려는 측면에서 계몽과 학습을 일반인들에게 전달한다는 개념에서 생물의 생활을 체험을 통하여 경험하게 하여 생태의 중요성을 전달하려는 생태문화관 조성사업이 진행되었다. 이에 본 연구는 생태에 대한 체험프로그램을 개발하여 생태문화관의 전시공간에 디자인적 적용을 위한 프로세스로 생태 체험이 실질적으로 적용하여 전시적 효과를 극대화하는데 디자인 개발의 목적이 있다. (연구방법) 본 디자인개발 연구에서는 생태에 대한 자료적 분석을 통하여 외부 공간에서 부터 전시 실내공간을 연결하는 체험적 방식에 대한 생태 스토리라인을 구성하였으며 오감적 측면에서 생태체험 프로그램을 제시하고 전시공간에 적용성을 극대화하였다. 또한 연구방법은 디자인 개념 단계에서 계몽적 내용을 전달하는 방법으로 오감적 전시매체를 적용하여 경험할 수 있게 하였으며 공간전시적 측면에서 방문객이 오감을 느끼고 생태의 중요성과 인식을 통하여 학습적 극대화를 위한 방법을 제시하였고 재방문을 유도할 수 있는 디자인 개발 방향과 개념을 제시하였다. 디자인 프로세스 단계에서 공간을 전시 스토리라인과 부합되게 계획하고 단위공간 및 연결성을 극대화하는 평면 및 동선계획 그리고 세부적인 전시연출 프로그램을 통한 디자인을 개발하는 방법을 적용하였다. (결과) 생태체험 프로그램 개발을 통한 생태문화관 전시 프로그램은 직접적인 자연물 생태체험을 기반으로하여 전시 프로그램을 제시하였는데 단위별 주제는 생명의 물, 생태 경사로, 방죽의 생동, 그리고 현재와 과거, 방죽의 양서류, 체험학습, 숲과 방죽을 위하여, 하늘정원으로 구성하였다. 또한 전시연출 프로그램을 전시영역별 단위공간에 제시하였으며 생태환경에 대한 체험적 측면을 적용하여 생태문화관의 전시디자인 효과를 극대화하였다. (결론) 생태적 환경요소를 체험을 통하여 전시공간에 적용함으로써 방문객의 참여를 유도하고 실질적인 오감을 통한 학습적 효과를 극대화 할 수 있는 전시연출 프로그램 적용에 하였다. 특히 다양한 전시매체 즉, 디오라마, 실물복제 모형, 멀티그래픽 패널, 첨단 영상매체 등을 적용하여 관람자가 실질적으로 생태적 요소와 교감할 수 있는 체험콘텐츠 강화에 많은 학습적 내용을 전달하는 성과를 목표로 하였다. |

(Background and Purpose) Today, since the protection and management of nature ecology are considered important and have drawn considerable attention, greater efforts have been made to keep nature ecology efficiently within the domain of central and local governments. In particular, the effort to preserve living creatures in nature, or their ecology, began from the concept of ecology. It is very desirable to prevent damage to and preserve ecology permanently from an environmental perspective. In terms of the recovery and preservation of local ecology, ecological cultural centers have been established in order to help ordinary people understand the importance of ecology through experiences with living creatures. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop a program of ecological experiences and devise a program design to maximize the effect of exhibitions by practically incorporating ecological experiences into the design of the exhibition spaces in ecological cultural centers. (Method) In this design development research, data analysis of ecology was conducted. In this way, the experience from external spaces to indoor spaces of exhibitions was connected to create a storyline of ecology. With consideration of the five senses, an ecology experience program was suggested, and the applicability of the program to exhibition spaces was maximized. Regarding research methods, as a way to deliver educational messages in the design concept step, exhibition media based on the five senses were applied to facilitate the visitor experience. In terms of spatial exhibitions, a method for enabling visitors to experience the five senses and recognize the importance of ecology was suggested to maximize their learning experience. In addition, the direction and concept of design development to induce revisits were proposed. In the design process step, the developed design technique was applied to plan a space in line with the storyline of the exhibition, plan a plane and the line of flow, and create a detailed exhibition program. (Results) The exhibition program of an ecological cultural center was proposed on the basis of direct experiences with nature ecology. The themes of the program include water life, ecology slope, dike vividness, the present & the past, amphibians of a dike, experience learning, for forest and a dike, and garden of heaven. The suggested exhibition program included each display area. By applying experiential factors related to the ecological environment, the effect of the exhibition design of an ecological cultural center was maximized. (Conclusions) By applying experiential factors related to the ecological environmental to exhibition spaces, it was possible to induce visitors' participation and maximize the learning effect using the five senses with the exhibition program. In particular, by applying a variety of exhibition media, such as dioramas, mock-up models, multi-graphic panels, and advanced image media, it was possible to deliver learning messages to enhance the experience content and thus help visitors practically experience ecological factors. |
