The most typical style of Korean architecture is hanok. Hanok has strong norms to pursue distinctive uniqueness and originality, and there was much controversy about its space and style. Hanok, which reflects the changes of the times and the desires of residents, needs to evolve and change. At the same time, sustainable architecture that can meet the social desires of the times has vitality. This architecture is called "Han-style" hanok. Changes in the new functions and design elements of the hanok have been tried around the temple site. The Han-style Hanok was studied in the area built in commercial facilities around Bulguksa. The buildings in this area have been oriented to Hanok style and are changing little by little. The purpose of this study is to select architectural types of hanok in the commercial architecture around Bulguksa and compare the types and elements. Through this, the process and characteristics of the Han-style evolution are revealed. The type and changing elements of the Han-style can be utilized as an architectural element for creative hanok. |
