(연구배경 및 목적) 본 연구는 주민자치센터와 관련된 정책의 변화와 방향성을 파악하고, 주민자치센터 공간의 만족도와 요구도 및 상대적 중요도에 대한 실증조사를 실시하여 분석결과를 바탕으로 주민자치센터 실내공간 구성을 제언하고자 하는 목적을 가지고 연구를 하였다. (연구방법) 연구대상은 서울의 평균적인 주민자치센터 프로그램 운영비율과 유사한 강동구, 주민자치활동이 활발한 강서구, 광진구, 문화여가 프로그램 비중은 높지만 주민자치 영역이 가장 낮은 강남구를 주민자치센터 공간구성의 연구대상으로 설정하여 이들 지역의 주민자치센터 개요, 프로그램 및 공간 특성, 면적 등의 현황을 조사하였다. 연구대상 지역의 주민 인식조사를 실시하였다. 인식조사는 연구대상으로 선정한 강서구, 광진구, 강남구, 강동구 주민 431명을 대상으로 하여 주민자치센터의 각 공간에 대한 중요성과 만족도 그리고 각 공간의 디자인 방향성 인식을 조사하였다. (결과) 연구결과 주민자치센터는 평생교육 등의 차원에서 이루어지는 일반적 교육프로그램 위주로 운영이 되는 실정이었다. 공간구성을 보면 관리·행정, 건강·운동, 여가·문화, 교육·보육, 정보·상담의 순으로서 관리·행정의 면적 비중이 매우 크게 나타났다. 이러한 우리나라의 주민자치센터 공간구성은 주민의 요구와도 거리가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 연구대상자들이 가장 중요하게 생각하는 공간은 첫 번째가 건강·운동 및 교육·보육 공간, 두 번째가 여가·문화 공간, 세 번째가 정보·상담 공간 및 관리·행정 공간으로 나타났다. 각 공간에 대한 중요성과 만족도의 차이는 건강·운동 공간에 대한 중요도와 만족도의 차이가 가장 크게 나타났으며, 다음으로 교육·보육 공간, 여가·문화 공간, 정보·상담 공간이었고, 관리·행정 공간에 대한 중요도와 만족도의 차이가 가장 적은 것으로 나타났다. (결론) 본 연구는 현재 주민자치센터 운영 및 공간 구성의 문제점을 파악하고 공간 구성의 방향성을 제언하고자 하였다. 향후 주민자치센터는 주민의 참여를 바탕으로 공간구성이 이루어지되, 기본적으로 주민이 요구하는 방향은 본 연구의 결과로 추측할 수 있으리라 판단된다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 주민의 요구사항을 반영할 경우 만족도가 높은 주민자치센터 공간 구성이 가능할 것이다. |

(Background and Purpose) The purpose of this study is to understand policy changes and directions related to community service centers, and relative importance of the spaces of community service centers. Consequently, it proposes the compositions of indoor spaces of community service centers based on the analytic outcomes. (Method) The areas of Eunpyeong-gu, Gangseo-gu, Gangdong-gu, and Seongdong-gu were selected as the research objects of the spatial compositions of community service centers; the current status of the outlines, programs, spatial characteristics, and areas were then surveyed. This study understood the spatial compositions of American and Japanese community service centers to make a comparative analysis of the spatial composition of Korean community service centers, and conducted a study on the awareness of local residents of the areas under examination. Four hundred and thirty-one residents in the areas of Eunpyeong-gu, Gangseo-gu, Gangdong-gu, and Seongdong-gu were selected as the research objects to study the importance and satisfaction of each space of community service centers, and the awareness of directions of spatial design. (Results) The results show that, domestic community service centers have primarily focused on general education programs conducted for lifelong education, while maintenance has more importance for spatial compositions, along with administration, health, exercise, leisure, culture, education, childcare, information, and counseling. This indicates that, in the area of maintenance, the administration has accounted for very high rates. Furthermore, the spatial composition of Korean community service centers does not correspond to local residents' requests, exercise space, and education. Childcare space, ahead of other factors, designing leisure, and culture space show the highest rate in dissatisfaction, requiring attention. The direction of the design compositions ought to consider local residents' community, safety, and substantiality, followed by accessibility and functionality. Next, availability should be considered the third direction. (Conclusions) In the case of community, in particular, local residents' characteristics should be considered. As to safety and availability, income levels of local residents in relevant areas should be considered so that the spatial design encompassing the safety of the direction and required availability could be created. If local residents' requests are accepted on the basis of such research outcomes, the spatial composition of community service centers with high rates of satisfaction will be realized. |
