With so much controversy and concern, the DDP opened on March 21, 2014, and in the first nine months of the year, it had 6.68 million visitors. Although the goal of the originally set visitor was not difficult, the visitors were concentrated due to curiosity about the atypical architectural space rather than the contents of DDP, and the continuity (flow) of space use and movement was cut off. Therefore, this study closely analyzed the movement and viewing behavior of DDP visitors and the survey method used visitors' tracking research and behavior code analysis. The purpose of this study is to find out spatial planning implications to improve visitor 's experience. DDP visitors were disconnected from the Dongdaemun History and Culture Park. The visitors' movements were not only the role of landmark buildings for urban revitalization but also the concept of Zaha Hadid's intention. Also, it is expected that visitors should be informed about the spatial scale and the route of travel, so that they can adjust their viewing speed by themselves. This study was carried out to improve the experience of DDP visitors, and the conclusions of this study are generally limited to applying to other cultural facilities. |
