이 연구는 범죄위험성이 높은 기존 일반주택지역, 저소득층 주거지역의 경우 여전히 범죄위험에 노출되어 전반적인 삶의 질이 향상되지 못한다는 문제인식을 배경으로 한다. 연구 목적은 노후화가 진행되고 있는 일반주택지역에 셉테드 사업이 적용되었을 때 사업의 범죄예방효과성에 대해 지역주민들은 어떻게 인식하고 있는가를 확인함으로써 향후 지역적 특성 및 주민의 요구에 부합하고, 사업성과의 지속성을 유지할 수 있는 사업목표와 체계적인 진행절차를 모색하고자 하는 것이다. 연구방법은 첫째, 노원구 관내 일반주택지역에 대한 「범죄제로화 사업」의 추진배경 및 추진전략 그리고 범죄위험성과 관련된 노원구의 일반적인 현황지표들에 대한 조사 및 분석을 실시하였다. 둘째, 사업대상지역 주변에 거주하는 주민들을 대상으로 범죄예방효과 인식에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 셋째, 수집된 설문결과를 기술통계, 교차분석을 활용하여 양적 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 첫째, 셉테드 사업에 대해 주민들이 인지할수록, 범죄예방에 대한 기대가 높을수록 사업효과에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 둘째, 사업대상 구역별로 범죄발생, 무질서, 두려움에 대한 효과 인식정도에 차이를 보였다. 그러나 전반적으로 범죄예방효과에 대해서는 긍정적으로 인식하였다. 셋째, 사업지역 주민들은 셉테드 사업을 통해 범죄발생의 감소 〉범죄두려움의 감소 〉무질서의 감소 순서로 효과가 높다고 인식하였다. |

This study is based on the recognition that general housing areas and low-income residential areas with high risk of crime still have low quality of life because the areas are still exposed to crime risks. The purpose of the study is to seek systematic procedures and goals of the CPTED project to meet the local characteristics and needs of residents in the future by identifying how local residents perceive the crime prevention effectiveness of the project when the CPTED project is applied to the general residential areas where the deterioration is taking place. The research method was as follows: First, the background and strategy of 'Crime Zeroing Project' in the general residential areas and general status indices of Nowon-gu related to crime risk were investigated and analyzed. Second, a survey of residents living near the project areas was conducted on the perceived effectiveness of crime prevention. Third, quantitative analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and crossover analyses. This study provided several results. First, the more the residents perceived the CPTED program and the higher the expectation of the residents on the crime prevention effectiveness was, the more positively the residents recognized the effectiveness of the project. Second, there was a difference in perceived effectiveness of the CPTED project on crime, disorder, and fear of crime depending on the project areas. However, overall, the residents thought that the effectiveness of the project on crime prevention was positive. Third, the residents of the project areas recognized that the first impact of the CPTED project is decreasing crime, the second one is decreasing fear of crime, and the third one is decreasing disorder among the three. |
