The city of the 21st century regards humanity of the city as the best value, and social exclusion is emerging as a new issue. The purpose of this study is to summarize the concept of lonely death in which social exclusion is extreme and to clarify the relationship between factors related to lonely death. Theoretical review and empirical analysis methods are used for the purpose of this study. The results of this study are as follows. First, lonely death is not limited to the elderly. Lonely death was mainly focused on the elderly, but the actual lonely death was not limited to the elderly. Second, lonely death relates to the infrastructure for social relations in the region. The more culture welfare facilities such as literacy center, welfare center, youth center, culture center and so on, the less lonely death. Third, the relationship between the number of social welfare officials and lonely death has a positive correlation with each other. This study has the following significance. First, I wish to become an opportunity to raise interest in the problem of social exclusion, which is a somewhat burdensome problem to be treated as a research topic in our country. Second, we approached loneliness through urban spatial approach and suggested the necessity and alternative of policy based on social inclusion in urban and regional planning and development. Third, we proposed the necessity of constructing statistical data for isolation and social exclusion groups in each municipality |
