(background and purpose)With the constant development of city, urban rail traffic construction project plays the significant role and develops rapidly in modern city. Rail traffic has the advantages that cannot be replaced by those of ordinary traffic: such as little influence of environment, high efficiency and so on. However, in the enclosed space, especially the underground rail traffic (Light Rail) without natural light, lacking the reference objects of building, nature and human landscape, people are easy to lose direction-sense; in this way, it will bring inconvenience to passengers and cause waste of time and energy. Rail transit guidance system, as a medium connecting and communicating between people and the urban environment, needs to be designed scientifically and rationally. This survey and investigation was carried out based on theoretical consideration and after having checked out traffic directional system and it turned out that with current simple directional sign can hardly cover up the demand for urban traffic and culture development appropriately. In order to overcome the facts, I made public traffic directional sign based on images having come out after one year investigation and consideration reflecting on historical specification and urban culture. (Method)In the thesis, it regards literature research and site as center. Chapter 2 makes theoretical investigation on guide design and summarizes the four basic principles of guide design, unity, continuity, simplicity and readability. Chapter 3 makes investigation on Busan, Gimhae urban culture and history, it develops traffic guide design with the combination of image. Through the questionnaire of traffic guide design after development in Chapter 4, it is able to get the guide design with urban characteristics and promote the development of city as well. In Chapter 5, it arranges the conclusion and the significance of the research. (Results)Choose 90 passengers randomly as research object and it can be certain that the research result regards the combination of image and words as the result of guide design. The guide design with the combination of image and words can provide the information much more quickly and more clearly in a certain period of time; at the same time of understanding the information of station more conveniently, users experience the regional cultural characteristics of the city as well. (Conclusions)Through the after-use evaluation on the guide design on Busan Gimhae Light Rail Transit, it makes people get kinder recognition and identification about the image of light rail transit; besides, there is also good spreading benefits on humanistic feature of Busan and Gimhae, people's living quality and urban cultural ethics. |
