(연구배경 및 목적) 인구 천 만명을 수용하는 메가 시티가 생겨나면서 효율적으로 많은 인원을 수용하는 데는 성공했지만 그에 따 지역의 유휴지를 이용하여 문화콘텐츠를 담은 문화공간을 창출하여 장기적인 수익성을 보장하고, 나아가 지역경제발전을 목표로 하는 도시재생이 필요하다.(연구방법)본 연구는 문화콘텐츠를 통한 유휴공간 재생에 대해 알아보기 위하여 학술지, 매체 등을 통해 경제적, 문화적, 환경적 측면에서 이익을 창출한 성공적인 사례임을 객관적으로 증명할 수 있고, 적극적인 시민참여와 의견적용, 지역 내에 문화공간으로서 자리 잡은 우수한 해외사례들을 나열하였다. 이를 네 가지 유형으로 나누어 분석하고 문화콘텐츠와 공간의 연결점을 찾아 조사, 분석한다. (결과) 연구 결과 유휴공간은 기능적이고 실용적인 공간을 제공했을 뿐 아니라 지역 내 부족한 문화시설 및 공간을 제공하여 경제적으로 지역발전을 이루었다. 또한 낡은 유휴공간을 다양한 콘텐츠를 활용하여 일상의 자연스런 환경으로 존재하게 하였다. |

(Background and Purpose)Though mega-cities have successfully managed to take in a population of more than 10 million each, they have not yet found ways to solve the resulting social problems, such as the increased gap between rich and poor. However, ways of dealing with these issues are necessary to provide social and economic regeneration. This study suggests that a mega-city's idle space can be used as shared cultural space that not only provides long-term profits, but also enables the holistic economic development of the region. (Methods) The current research primarily relates to using idle space for regeneration through cultural means. To complete this research various journals and media content was used to uncover economic, cultural, and environmental case studies that proved profitable and successful based on measures of active citizen participation and feedback. Prime cultural spaces are also listed. We then divide these examples into four types and analyze each; we also research their links to cultural content. (Result)The study showed that idle space not only provides functional space within mega-cities but also provides space for cultural activities and facilities that may aid economic development. In addition, the idle space utilized various methods to integrate with the natural environment.ts on the national image. |
