In this study, the multi-mode identification of the 5-story structure was performed. According to experiments, this structure had 3-mode. The 1st mode was rotational mode, 2nd mode and 3rd mode were translational mode in Y-direction and X-direction, respectively. As a result, natural frequencies of this structure were 0.821Hz, 0.834Hz and 0.966Hz. Modal damping ratios were 1.2%, 3.1% and 3.1%. Modal masses were 25ton, 15ton, 15ton. Unusually natural frequencies of 1st and 2nd modes were very similar, so rotational mode and translational mode in Y-direction interacted. Also 3rd mode interacted with 1st and 2nd mode too. With this result, transfer function of this structure was calculated. |
