Because of the thermal energy loss in the curtain wall buildings, the purpose of this research is to get a better plan which can reduce more heating and cooling energy. In order to achieve this goal, the study executed building energy simulation to evaluation factors that forms the double skin facade and the curtain wall building. The factors that is considered in this study are the air gap distance of the double skin facade, the window area ratio of the inner envelope, the direction of the building and the shading device condition. The results of this study are based on weather data of Busan in Design Builder. |
