¿ä¾à2 Ando Tadao's architecture shows its own consistent figure in the use of exposed mass concrete and natural architectural language, and this can also be seen in Tadao's design for exhibition space. The exhibition space is an architecture with a definite purpose of exhibit. It is necessary to be able to flexibly change the composition of the space according to the nature of the work to be exhibited. Ando Tadao always participates in designing from scratch, which makes it able for him to use his own consistent architectural language in the adequate figure of the given space. In such perspective, this essay analyzed the common traits and architectural language that can be found in Tadao's exhibition space through examples. Ando Tadao hereby uses the purpose of the space and his architectural language, the geometrical element, and nature in harmony to express in the exhibition space. Moreover, Ando Tadao approached the spaces in diverse ways by expressing new architectural techniques. This shows the true value that modern exhibition areas should pursue and is crucial enough to study deeper about.
