For application to apartment house, which accounts for the vast majority of constructions in domestic, various studies on development of device for seismic control are being conducted by private constructors and public companies. Also, a device of lintel beam type has been developed based on structural characteristics of apartment houses and risk of earthquake in domestic, and applied to newly constructed apartment houses. Currently, in domestic, research on efficient installation method of device for seismic control is rare, as it is still in the early stage. Therefore, in this study, based on the damper for lintel beam that was recently developed, an installation method for efficient damper for lintel beam will be proposed according to installation capacity and horizontal position of dampers of different heights. |
