The purpose of this study was to perform the extent of the developmental disorders and the actual condition of residential environment, and to performed assistance extent from personal assistant and danger extent in the living areas. The data for the analysis was collected through questionnaire survey method from August 14 to 21, 2016, and the sample consisted of 79 respondents assistant of developmental disorder. The questionnaire survey were categorized into general characteristics, extent of the developmental disorder, main living space, assistance extent from personal assistant and danger extent in the living areas. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, t-test and one-way anova with Duncan’s multiple range tests. The results were as follows : 1) The main living space for the handicapped was the greatest difference according to age. 2) Both assistance extent from personal assistant and danger extent in the living areas were items that required delicate actions. 3) Single-detached houses existed both higher assistance level and higher physical risks, whereas the apartment was both lower. 4) Assistance extent from personal assistant and danger extent in the living areas showed a moderate degree of positive correlation. |
