Recently in Korea the disabled population is constantly increasing and of this population 30% are living in rural areas. Disable households tend to live in rural areas compare to the others and most of the housing environment in rural area is very poor and decayed. housing renovation projects are typically done and not considering residents' characteristics and lifestyles, thus after renovation practical improvement could not be found. As results, the appropriateness of the housing renovation project is analyzed. This research is significant that elements of the customization for the disabled housing renovation was deducted. |
