This research is for the planning of an exhibition space centered on active spectators to meet the demands of the rapidly changing society. Accordingly, in an open-plan exhibition space where the arrangement of display is determined relatively freely, the arrangement of exhibit affects spectators¡¯ behaviors, and this study aims at presenting them quantitatively. In other words, this study is to draw up an indicator which can be applied to the circulation plan and arrangement plan for an actual exhibition space by analyzing the space-syntax of an exhibition space according to the arrangement of exhibit. In addition, this research is meaningful in that it has attempted to analyze spectators¡¯ behaviors as close to the reality as possible as a follow-up study of a precedent one that examined the methods to analyze into the exhibition space of a science museum consisting of participatory exhibit based on spectators¡¯ behaviors. |
