In Korea, Barrier-Free certification system as a positive discrimination is in operation. This study reviewed the history and major revised contents of BF certification system and analyzed the system by building owner, year, region and certification grade based on authentication results. The following conclusions were drawn from analysis results. A public building used unspecified individuals was more certifications than a private building for specific users. Authentication results has increased from the time the buildings were constructed for a national event and the new city was developed. Also the buildings that obtained the grand and the excellence grade has captured 92% of the total certificated buildings. Authentication results show that buildings required BF certification had a high grade. |
