As various means of transportation develop, a customer's choice of public transportation expands. However, a bus having strong points of relatively low fare and making it possible to travel even to a small village is a representative means of public transportation which many people still use even now. Some recently constructed bus terminal make an effort to absorb a floating population around the bus terminal as multiplex cultural facilities as well as bus users by connecting with hotel and commercial facilities such as movie theater and department store. However, with regard to bus terminal except these some bus terminal, in comparison with public transportation facilities of similar type such as airport, passenger terminal, and railway station, accessory facilities are limited and a lot of relatively outdated facilities can be seen. A bus terminal is a public space used by an unspecified number of the general public, and public service is accomplished there. And satisfactory public service should be smoothly provided so that bus users save time by acquiring correct information while they wait, using the terminal before taking a bus and don't suffer inconvenience in using the facilities. Hence, it is intended to make an unspecified number of the general public less subject to time limits on taking and getting off a bus in a terminal and it is intended to facilitate the use of terminal while they wait for a bus by examining the area of bus terminal in the public space, and analyzing the behavior of people waiting for a bus in the waiting space where users spend a lot of time among places public service is accomplished. |
