바이오미미크리 개념은 많은 전문분야에서 다루어지고 있으며 성공적인 사례들을 통해 그 중요성이 높아지고 있다. 그러나 최근 건축계획 분야에서는 바이오미미크리 개념이 다루어지고 있지 않다. 본 연구과제의 최종 목표는 바이오미미크리 기반의 건물설계 및 계획원리를 통해 바이오미미크리 건축계획 모델을 일반화하는 것이다. 따라서 이 논문은 기초연구 단계로 바이오미미크리 개념이 활용된 건축계획 및 건축물 사례의 경향성을 파악하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 연구 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 바이오미미크리 개념 및 선행연구 고찰을 통해 이론적 틀을 검토하는 문헌연구를 수행한다. 두 번째는 바이오미미크리 사례와 관련된 자료를 수집하고 전반적인 특성을 조사한다. 그 중에서 주요 특성을 도출하여 건축적 관점에서 주요하게 다룬다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1.자연보다는 동식물 특성 위주로 적용되고 있었으며 세 가지 응용 경향이 도출되었다. 2.건축적 적용의 범위는 건물 전체를 대상으로 하는 경우가 많았으며 특히 외피에 가장 많이 적용되었다. 3.적용효과로는 에너지 저감 및 성능향상의 효과가 가장 두드러지게 나타났다. 연구 결과는 계획적 측면에서 바이오미미크리를 적용하고 구체화하는데 활용될 것이다. |

Biomimicry is addressed in many different fields and the importance of applying it have been underlined through successful cases. However, recently, the concept of biomimicry for architectural design has not been indicated specifically. The final goal of this project is to generate an architectural design model, which applied concepts of biomimicry and is built based on its design principle. Thus, this paper is aimed to examine tendencies of architectural design and building cases according to their degree of dependence on applying the concept of biomimicry as a fundamental research step. The research consists the following steps; first, literature review is performed as a theoretical framework of biomimicry concept and examination of previous studies. The second step is to collect data by gathering examples using biomimicry and then by investigating their overall trends and characteristics. Third, main characteristics will be discussed in detail. The results of the research are as follows: 1. Principles of animal and plant's organism are mostly applied to building cases rather than ecosystem and three application trends have appeared. 2.Biomimicry is usually applied to building facades. 3. Effects of application are mostly energy saving and advanced building performance. The results can ultimately be used during the process of biomimicry application and materialization in architectural designs. |
