Long term exposure of certain level of radon concentration can cause lung cancer. If radon concentration is over certain level at home where we spend most time, we might be affected significantly. In this case, we need trying to lower the level of radon concentration. In this study, radon concentration was measured at one unit of apartment housing on the 11th floor and the variation of radon concentration was observed due to the change of ventilation rate. The results show that the maximum radon concentration was over recommended level but average one is lower than that, and the more ventilation it has, the lower radon concentration was measured. |
