According to specific forms of environmental mouldings along with formative design compositions, street spaces which are composed of three dimensionally various physical forms including many different roads and lands are not only occupied lots of portions but expressed as a specific characteristic area in a city. Especially architectural buildings among three dimensional environmental mouldings represent truly as a main element in a city. City has been only physically developed with losing identities by uniformed architectural design planning so we are facing with the time to solving all the issues which currently has been disconnected between architects, buildings, and users. The main purpose of this research provides with aspects of users¡¯ viewpoints for formative design characteristics. In order to find priority of visual perception regarding formative design components from test subjects, we focused on the internationally recognized city, Hong Kong which has lots of different types of formative design characteristic buildings including specific expression methods for formative design components. This study is to be basic research materials suggesting formative design directions which are not from professionals¡¯ viewpoints for design quality but users¡¯ viewpoints in office and commercial district. |
