Recently, the insulation thickness of housing has increased steadily in accordance with the strengthen building energy standards. In addition, since TDR(Temperature Difference Ratio) regulation is started, the insulation design has to be changed. Many studies on the thermal performance comparative studies between the internal and the external insulation have been done. Therefore, this study focuses on the construction cost comparison based on height, insulation thickness and finishing materials of Apartments. As a result, the external insulation is analyzed that the structure cost has been down. In particular, when the insulation thickness increases, the cost has declined largely. Therefore, it is estimated that the external insulation is more reasonable in the near future when the insulation thickness would be increased significantly. |
