The purpose of this paper is to investigate elevator hall noise propagation characteristics according to block plan types. So, corridor block type, flat block and tower block type plan apartment were tested. Because these three types are very usual in domestic apartment houses. Followings are results. Corridor block type has another door when compared with flat and tower block type. So, corridor type has better sound insulation performance than other cases. Flat and tower block type have higher level decrease between porch and living room. Elevator cage has 23dB sound insulation performance when estimated by single rating index. There is more than 20dB decrease in all three types between elevator hall and porch and more than 33dB between elevator hall and living room. |
