한국은 지난 수십년간 경제발전과 의학의 발달, 평균수명의 연장으로 급격한 노령화 속도를 보이고 있으며, 노인요양시설의 수도 따라 증가하고 있다. 노인의 특성을 고려하지 않은 노인요양시설의 건축계획은 노인의 공간인지상실 문제를 유발하며, 노인으로 하여금 상당한 스트레스 발생의 요인이 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 노인요양시설의 공간구조에 관한 연구로서, 향후 노인요양시설을 계획할 때 공간의 본 기능에 적합한 공간분류에 따른 공간구조 및 계획제시에 그 의의를 둔다. J-Graph 분석과 공간구문론을 통한 정량적 분석 결과, 노인요양시설의 공간깊이가 깊은 구조는 노인들의 신체기능을 고려할 때, 적절하지 않다고 할 수 있으며 주사용자인 노인들의 특성에 맞춰 평면을 계획해야한다. 또한, 노인요양시설에서 배회로의 설치는 노인이 환경을 인지하고 방향감각을 가지게 하는 중요한 요소임과 동시에 건물의 축을 형성하는 요소이다. |

For the last few decades, Korea has been getting aged quite rapidly because of the development of the economic field and the medical field and the extension of the average life expectancy as well, and that has been the main reason for Korea to have nursing facilities more than it did before. However, any construction plans to build nursing facilities would only cause the elderly a lack of spatial cognition unless it is conducted based upon consideration of characteristics of the elderly, and that always works as the main stressor for the elderly. In the light of that, as a research on the spatial structure of the nursing facilities, the study aims to propose ideas to deal with the spatial structure, and those ideas will help a construction company or an architect to design any space in the nursing facility good enough to fulfill its original functions when they build the facility. According to the results of the quantitative analysis via the J-Graph analysis and the space syntax, the study learns that the deep spatial structure of the nursing facility would not be proper when considering the physical functions of the elderly, and because of that, the study argues that those engaging in the construction of the nursing facility should plan the plane, paying great attention to the characteristics of the elderly who are the main users of the facility. |
