Local exhaust ventilation functions by collecting toxic substance and emitting it from a workplace or a residential district. In terms of use of low energy and ventilation efficiency. The local exhaust ventilation is more desirable than whole ventilation. The hood in the LEV system allows toxic substance to come in. That is, if the hood in the LEV system cannot control toxic substance properly, that could result in threatening workers' health on account of the existence of the toxic substance. Therefore, this study aims at producing optimum hood figure through existing research cases, Computer Fluid Dynamics simulation and experiments. |
