It is essential to develop a BIM-based quantity takeoff for 3D integrated project management system because the original managerial data are generated by drawings. Even though every construction company has own manual for quantity takeoff, it is required to standardize the items and contents such as work breakdown, inclusions and so on for 3D BIM integrated project management system. Therefore, the main objective of this paper is to analyze WBS for the development of the guideline to define the scope and detailed contents of individual quantity takeoff item. This research will be extended to develop a quantity takeoff guideline based on standard WBS. |
